As a data-driven company, GoDaddy seeks a talented and highly motivated analyst to join the Business Analytics team. The role involves developing analytical project requirements, conducting in-depth data analysis, building dashboards, designing data solutions, and performing large-scale data analysis. You will work with leaders across various departments and communicate findings to the executive team. The ideal candidate will drive product strategy, reduce customer attrition, and find new revenue opportunities. The position requires a clear and succinct storyteller from the data to communicate findings to the executive team.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in a technical role in a corporate setting
  • Proficiency in SQL for data discovery and extraction
  • Expertise with data visualization tools like Tableau or Google Analytics
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex analyses
  • Ability to collaborate across teams in various time zones
Good to have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Knowledge of Python or R
  • Familiarity with ETL implementation and schema design

Location Details: Colombia, remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working from home. However, you may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

As a data-driven company, GoDaddy seeks a talented and highly motivated analyst to join our Business Analytics team.  On the BA team, you will be integral to our company's growth through the insights you uncover and the thoughtful recommendations you make.   

You know and love working with analytic tools, can write excellent SQL and scripts, have strong statistical skills, are very effective and efficient at creating visual dashboards, and can use your technical skills and creative approaches to drive product strategy, reduce customer attrition, and find new revenue opportunities.  

You will join forces with leaders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, and more.  You must be able to tell a clear and succinct story from the data and communicate findings to the executive team. The right person will raise the profile and excellence of our entire team. You can make a difference here!    

What you'll get to do...

  • Develop analytical project requirements and provide insights to support GoDaddy's business objectives and growth strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify actionable insights and effectively communicate findings to influence business decisions.
  • Build and maintain dynamic dashboards and visualizations using advanced business intelligence tools to aid in understanding business drivers.
  • Design and implement end-to-end data solutions, including enterprise-wide views, dashboards, and custom reporting.
  • Perform large-scale data analysis and develop models for segmentation, classification, and customer behavior analysis.

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years in a technical role in a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data discovery, aggregation, and extraction; experience with large datasets and AWS/Redshift preferred.
  • Expertise with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Google Analytics.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex analyses and support conclusions with effective visualizations.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams in various time zones, navigating both technical and business discussions.

You might also have...

  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, etc., is required.   
  • Knowledge of Python or R.  
  • Familiarity with ETL implementation and maintenance, and a working understanding of schema design and dimensional data modeling.
