Job Description

Sinch is seeking a high-performing Strategic Account Executive to manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, negotiating complex agreements, and handling technical discussions. This role requires strong expertise in IaaS and SaaS sales models, a proven track record of closing enterprise and strategic sales, and experience with partner ecosystems. Responsibilities include advising clients and partners, aligning solutions with business goals, exceeding quarterly targets, generating outbound leads, and collaborating with technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills, and have a history of success in selling complex technical solutions to enterprise clients, exceeding $100K per year in sales price and deal size. The role involves upselling, cross-selling, and acquiring new accounts with ARR ranging from $20,000 to $1M+. The successful candidate will engage with mid-level to senior management, and work with Technical Account Managers to vet onboarding of large volume senders.

Description

We are looking for a high performing, creative, flexible, high-energy individual to take opportunities from lead to closed won, while navigating complex sourcing models, legal negotiations, and highly technical product conversations. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of and experience in IaaS and SaaS sales models, and a proven track record of closing enterprise and strategic sales opportunities as well as partner ecosystem opportunities. The Strategic Account Executive specializes in advising clients and partners, aligning to business goals and leading resources in the development and delivery of solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. Solid work ethic, personal accountability, resourcefulness to change, strong organization skills and critical thinking are all assets’ candidates will need to demonstrate to be successful in this role. The right candidate will eagerly pursue opportunities to upsell and cross sell platform products to existing customers as well as target and close net new accounts ranging anywhere from $20,000 ARR to $1M+ARR.

  • Exceed quarterly targets through prospecting, developing, and persuading key decision-makers at premium companies
  • Field incoming leads as well as generate outbound calls, occasionally making client site visits and presentations.
  • Uses internal relationships to exceed customer expectations and provide support to the team.
  • Engages and persuades mid-level to senior level management.
  • Works with Technical Account Managers to vet onboarding the right large volume senders, omitting bad actors before we engage in a lengthy sales process.

Requirements

  • Strong professional sales expertise to include the sales process and sales techniques.
  • Good knowledge of complex configurations which apply to offerings based on customer’s needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of Enterprise Sales experience and a track record of personally selling and closing complex technical solutions to enterprises and software companies in excess of $100K per year in sales price and deal size.
  • Comfortable with selling complex enterprise platform solution, understanding of API value proposition
  • Demonstrated success in selling innovative technologies to medium and large organization
  • Ability to ‘hunt’ new customers and develop current ones

The annual starting salary for this position is $150,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be $150,000 annually and are based on performance.  This role will be accepting applications until February 3rd, 2025 at a minimum.
