We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction and installation requirements for Trackman Range systems. As the Trackman Range Project Manager, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful design, construction, and implementation of Trackman Range projects globally. Your role will involve managing the construction jobs of contractors, architects, designers across various regions, including North America, South America, Australia, and New Zealand, to ensure the timely completion of projects, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and optimize cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage Construction Requirements:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee the construction requirements for Trackman Range systems.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate and manage client contractors, architects, designers, and Trackman-hired contractors throughout the design and construction phases.
Act as the primary point of contact for all construction-related matters.
Technical Expertise and Infrastructure Ownership
Own and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the infrastructure requirements for Trackman Range systems, including specifications on fiber, low voltage, power draw of products, basic electrical knowledge, trenching rules, conduit specs, and best practices for the above trades.
Provide expert guidance and recommendations on the installation and implementation of infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to develop and update installation guidelines and standards based on the industry’s best practices and technological advancements.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in construction and infrastructure technologies, sharing relevant knowledge and insights with the team.
Develop and Improve Master Service Agreement (MSA):
Develop and continuously enhance the master service agreement between Trackman and preferred contractors.
Establish clear terms and conditions in the MSA to control and forecast pricing for projects based on the number of radars and screens required.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contractual compliance and mitigate potential risks.
Customer Solutions and Impact Minimization:
Work closely with customers and contractors to determine the best construction solutions that minimize impact on customers.
Analyze site-specific details, such as the number of radars based on the size of grass tees and static bays, in consultation with the sales team.
Run simulations to validate radar placement and locations for each site and provide accurate information to the sales team.
Communication and Collaboration:
Utilize Monday.com, our project management platform, to communicate project timelines, provide updates, and share site-specific information with internal business partners.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure accurate site-specific details are provided to installers.
Conduct regular site walks at turnkey facilities with contractors to determine server room locations, identify any unique outliers, measure and stake radars and touchscreens, and plan trenching paths.
Project Coordination and Customer Engagement:
Host kickoff and weekly project calls with customers to ensure project timelines and deliverables are being managed and met effectively.
Provide detailed information and instructions to installers to set them up for success on each installation.
Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Cost-effective Solutions and Financial Management:
Collaborate with contractors during site walks to ensure all routes, including trenching paths, are accurately determined and optimized for cost-effectiveness.
Actively seek opportunities to identify and implement more cost-effective solutions during the construction process.
Play a pivotal role in ensuring the company saves money through efficient project management, resource allocation, and cost control measures.
Sales Assistance (Note: This is a smaller component of the role)
Leverage your technical expertise and provide valuable insights during the sales process to assist in closing deals and securing contracts.
Act as a knowledgeable resource for the sales team, offering expert guidance and support during customer calls to address inquiries and provide technical insights.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure accurate and up-to-date information regarding site-specific details and technical specifications are provided.
Utilize your expertise to contribute to help close deal if needed.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or 2+ years in project management.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or related industries.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Monday.com or similar platforms.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
