Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on large eCommerce clients in Tokyo, Japan. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to provide excellent client service, proactively identifying and solving client problems, building strong customer relationships, educating clients on new product features, and collaborating with Google leadership to build meaningful customer relationships for growth. The role also involves working with product managers to provide customer insights and leveraging resources like Optimization, Marketing, Vendor, and Technical Support to enhance advertiser performance and investment. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in online sales, business development, digital advertising, marketing, or consulting. Experience in online ad sales is preferred. This role requires working closely with some of the world’s largest advertisers and agencies to develop effective digital advertising solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years experience in online sales/related fields
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills

  • Collaboration with internal teams

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in online sales, business development, digital advertising, marketing, or consulting.

  • Experience working in online ad sales, business development, marketing or consulting sales.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work together with team members to provide the best-possible service and insights to our clients.
  • Identify and solve client problems proactively and creatively, set business objectives and drive client's organizations toward those objectives.
  • Build relationships with customers and educate them on new product features. Collaborate with Google leadership (direct manager and above) to build meaningful relationships with customers that will lead to new insights and areas of customer growth.
  • Learn and work with Google's product managers to provide input and customer insights to the development of Google products.
  • Leverage all available resources including Optimization, Marketing, Vendor, and Technical Support. Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment.
