Job Description

As an Account Manager, Promotional Media, Large Customer Sales at Google, you'll act as a consultant, providing solutions to improve your clients' businesses and overcome their challenges. You'll leverage your marketing, problem-solving, and communication skills to recommend strategies for better digital marketing. Your responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, proactively identifying and solving client problems, building customer relationships, and educating them on new Google products. You will analyze data trends, develop growth plans, and grow advertising cross-channel business through data-driven recommendations aligned with customer objectives. Success in this role hinges on building strong client relationships, understanding Google's product suite, and driving client growth, ultimately contributing to Google's business success.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years online sales/marketing experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Google Ads account management experience (preferred)
  • Data analysis and strategic planning abilities
  • Client relationship building and consultative selling
Good to have:
  • Experience in online ad sales, business development, or consulting sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in online sales, business development, digital advertising, marketing, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in online ad sales, business-development, marketing or consulting sales.
  • Experience in Google Ads account management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking skills.

As an Account Manager, you will play the role of a consultant providing solutions to improve the business of your assigned clients or to solve their business challenges. You will use your marketing skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills to make recommendations to the clients on how they can develop their business by making better use of digital, especially in marketing, thereby becoming a trusted partner and contributing to the client's success. Client's success will lead to business for the team and Google. You will learn Google's products fully and in a timely manner, and understand digital marketing, to utilize it in the business activity.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers. Identify and solve client problems proactively and creatively.
  • Build relationships with customers and educate them on new product features.
  • Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to maximize client campaign results.
  • Grow advertising cross-channel business through clear, data and recommendations that align with Customer Business Objectives.
  • Analyze data trends and consumer insights to develop plans and prepare narratives to drive growth.
