Job Description

As an Advanced Quality Inspector at TVH, you will play a vital role in ensuring our parts meet the highest quality standards. You will inspect incoming products, conduct detailed measurements, lead root-cause investigations, and help define and improve quality specifications across product groups. Your attention to detail and technical knowledge will help ensure that only the best products reach our customers.
Must have:
  • Inspect incoming parts to determine whether they meet required specifications or need to be rejected.
  • Create and manage Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs) and collaborate with teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Own and update LOI Mastersheets (quality guidelines), including setting SKU-level tolerances.
  • Review and propose updates to product group quality standards based on change requests.
  • Perform First Article Inspections for new or revised parts, often requiring research and analysis.
  • Use advanced testing and measuring equipment with high accuracy and precision.
  • Support and advise fellow Quality Inspectors by sharing expertise and training.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Receiving, Product Development, and Procurement.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect incoming parts to determine whether they meet required specifications or need to be rejected.
  • Create and manage Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs) and collaborate with teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Own and update LOI Mastersheets (quality guidelines), including setting SKU-level tolerances.

HOW TO SUCCEED

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment – Required
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Experience using advanced measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Solid understanding of part tolerances, steel/plastic manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and documentation systems.
