Job Description
Binance, a global blockchain company, seeks participants for its Accelerator Program. This program offers early career talent an immersive experience in the Web3 space, allowing them to understand the operations of the leading blockchain ecosystem. Participants will gain exposure to the crypto-currency revolution, network with professionals, and build transferable skills. The role involves developing and enhancing backend services for the Risk platform using Java (Spring Boot), collaborating with cross-functional teams on fraud detection and transaction monitoring systems, writing clean and tested code, participating in code reviews, optimizing system performance, and assisting in building automation tools for operational efficiency and threat response.
Must have:

Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services and microservices for the Risk platform using Java (Spring Boot).
- Collaborate closely with risk analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to design and implement systems for fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and user protection.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Analyze and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Assist in building tools and automation to improve operational efficiency and response time to emerging threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (students in their final year are welcome to apply).
- Solid understanding of Java programming fundamentals, object-oriented design, and multithreading.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in security, risk management, or financial systems is a plus.
- Experience with distributed systems or microservice architectures.
- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to big data tools (Flink, Spark) or stream processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of blockchain or cryptocurrency concepts.
