As a Business Planning Manager, you will analyze inventory and sales data, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights to drive business growth. You will work with sales, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to develop strategies for increasing revenue and improving customer satisfaction. You will also work with the Trade Analytics & Operations team to improve promotion profitability and with Target's inventory team. This role involves travel to Minneapolis for customer and team meetings. You will gain experience working with a major retail partner.

  • 2 plus years of experience in Sales, Data Analysis, or similar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Business Planning Manager-Personal Health (Stamford, CT)

As a Business Planning Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing inventory and sales data, identifying trends and opportunities, and providing insights that will drive business growth for all inventory needs for Philips and Target.

Your role:

  • This role will work closely with sales, supply chain and cross functional teams to develop strategies that increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction for all inventory needs.
  • Work closely with the Trade Analytics & Operations team to improve the profitability of our promotions, while driving incremental revenue at the same time. 
  • This role will work directly with Target’s inventory team in conjunction with our Philips brands; Avent, Norelco & Sonicare. Travel is required to Minneapolis for customer and team meetings, roughly 20% of the time. 
  • Opportunity to work directly with the Sales team and gain experience working directly with a major retail partner. 

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business administration, Sales, Finance, Data Analytics or equivalent.
  • You’ve acquired 2 plus years of experience with (Bachelor's) in areas such as Sales, Data Analysis, Forecasting or equivalent or no prior experience required with Master’s degree.
  • Your skills include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Strong Communication and Presentation skills, Attention to Detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re a self-starter who doesn’t hesitate to jump into opportunities, solution-based thinker and enjoys working with the customers. 

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role will require you to travel 20% of the time to Minneapolis, MN based on customer (Target) needs, onboarding and various and local team trainings

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in (Stamford, CT) is $95,000 to $153,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Stamford, CT.
