The Consultant, Sales Engineering role involves understanding customer business requirements and creating solutions using Conga products and other cloud computing technologies like React Js, Angular, CSS, .NET, and C#, Salesforce, and MS Dynamics. The role also includes configuring Conga products, customizing product enhancements, and converting business problems into product deliverables. The team works with global sales engineering teams to build tailored demos for various customers and prospects, requiring clear communication, effective time management, and fast-track configuration, development, and testing skills.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years of software development experience in ReactJS, Angular, CSS, .NET, and C#.
  • Experience with client-side programming in JavaScript/ jQuery/ AngularJS.
  • Willingness to work on Salesforce CRM.
Good to have:
  • Prior experience in Salesforce.
  • Working experience on Business/ Enterprise Applications like Dynamics CRM/ Oracle/ SAP.
  • Knowledge of REST API to integrate with external systems.

Reports to: Associate Principal Solution Architect, SE

In Sales Engineering we look for someone passionate about understanding the business requirements of the customer and build the solution for the same using various Conga Products and other cloud computing capabilities like React Js, Angular, CSS, .NET, and C#, Salesforce and MS Dynamics. Configure the Conga products according to business use case. Should Customize the product enhancements. Ability to convert small business problem statement into product deliverable with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated to achieve excellence with "can do" attitude and always ready to go beyond and above of the limit. Ready to quickly learn new in-demand technologies if the need arises...

Why it’s a big deal…  

India based SC (Solution Consulting) team diligently works with the global sales engineering team to build tailored demos for various customers and prospects across the world. Building the demos includes working on Conga products and Salesforce platform-based configuration along with development on Salesforce platform for advance and complex demo requirements. The Solution Consulting team works with the sales engineers, also called SEs, located in various regions such as Americas, EMEA and JAPAC. This team gathers the requirements, builds the solutions and hands over the high-quality solutions that onsite SEs can present to the customers and prospects to close the deals. The entire build process requires clear communication with the onsite SE to scope the requirements, effective time management to handle multiple deliverables in parallel and fast-track configuration, development, and testing ability to deliver the solutions in timely manner. SC team gets the hands-on experience of all Conga products which contributes to growing product and domain knowledge. This team is looking for the candidates with go-getter attitude who can work well individually as well as in a team.

Are you the person we’re looking for?  

Technical Expertise.  You should have 3 to 5 years of software development experience in ReactJS, Angular, CSS, .NET, and C#. Must have experience on client-side programming in JavaScript/ jQuery/ AngularJS.

Salesforce Knowledge. Willingness to work on Salesforce CRM. Prior experience in Salesforce would be an added advantage. Good to have working experience on Business/ Enterprise Applications like Dynamics CRM/ Oracle/ SAP. Good to know REST API to integrate with external systems. Customize the product enhancements using APEX and Visual Force, Lightning Components, JS, CSS & C#. Thorough unit testing with maximum code coverage and programming best practices.

Agile Environment. You should Ability to perform in an extremely dynamic environment with an Agile development approach and configure the Conga products according to the business use case.

Education. A bachelor’s degree in BE/ B. Tech / B.C. A/ M.Tech/ MCA in Computer Science or equivalent.

And that also goes back to having an entrepreneurial spirit.
