Job Description

As a Customer Support Specialist at DEVBOT, you will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries promptly and accurately via email or chat. Your tasks include identifying customer needs, guiding them on specific features, and reporting any product malfunctions. You will maintain internal databases with details of technical issues and discussions with customers and proactively monitor and assist in resolving customer complaints. You'll also share feature requests and solutions with the team, follow up with customers to resolve technical issues and provide feedback to internal teams. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Must have:
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role.
  • Proficiency using PC, Mac, and mobile operating systems.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Patience when handling tough cases.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Job Details

DEVBOT is a Full-Stack Development company based in Austin, TX, and a production studio in Monterrey, Mexico. We have an incredible opportunity for a Customer Support Specialist to join the #TeamDEVBOT.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via email or chat.

• Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features.

• Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users).

• Update our internal databases with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers.

• Monitor customer complaints and reach out to provide assistance.

• Share feature requests and effective workarounds with team members.

• Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved.

• Gather customer feedback and share it with internal teams.

✅ Requirements:

• Highly proficient in spoken and written English.

• Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role.

• Proficiency using PC and Mac systems and other mobile operating systems.

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

• Critical thinking skills.

• Effective listening skills.

• Proactive.

• Patience when handling tough cases.

• Multi-tasking capabilities.
