The FX Product Manager role involves managing feature and function specifications for new or existing products and services, from definition and planning through production and release. This position is part of the EMEA Product Management team and will focus on overseeing product changes on FX platforms within execution workflows. The responsibilities include driving product requirements for new workflow capabilities, working with various teams to implement them, creating detailed product roadmaps, and communicating requirements. Collaboration with sales, operations, and technology teams is essential. Candidates should have product management experience in FX, knowledge of FX venues, and the ability to communicate complex trading ideas.

Job Details

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Product Manager to provide end-to-end management on feature/function specifications for new or legacy propositions, products and services. Leads all aspects of definition and planning through production, release, and end of lifecycle. Will additionally include limited revenue and budgetary accountability.

This is a regional role as a member of the EMEA Product Management team with a direct reporting line to the Head of Product Management, EMEA. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading discrete product changes on the FX platforms/ venues within the execution workflows. You will need to use product management experience, leadership skills, industry knowledge, strategic vision and influencing skills to drive business results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Accountable for driving the product requirements for new workflow capabilities for our FX platforms.
  • Work across various teams to drive the implementation of these capabilities within legacy and strategic platforms.
  • Take high-level requirements from multiple business leads, converting them into detailed multi-phase product roadmaps. Responsible for epics, user stories, use cases, etc.
  • Communicate detailed level requirements, both written and verbal, to a diverse set of partner teams
  • Offer advice on how to deliver product solutions against the needs of the business, sometimes interacting directly with the end user customers, to validate detailed product requirements
  • Work in a transitioning Waterfall to Agile environment

What you’ll bring or demonstrate that you can bring:

  • Product management experience, within FX, and with experience of building execution capabilities for both the sellside and buyside
  • Track record of building industry leading vendor solutions preferable (e.g. Matching, FXall, FX Connect, 360T)
  • FX cash and/or options experience
  • Execution focused attitude with to create product requirements, an execution roadmap and drive delivery of the plan.
  • You are knowledgeable in the FX venues space and possess the ability to communicate complex trading and workflow ideas to important team members is critical.
  • Ability to work with Sales in the region to ensure their product requirements are gathered and with Operations and Technology as the product representative in the region.

Education / Certificates:

Business or Technical degree is recommended, or equivalent experience
