You will be part of our team that works on Post and Pre Silicon Validation of latest Intel GFX products.
As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our silicon products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Validation Strategy and Development: Define and develop silicon validation strategies, methodologies, test environments, and test suites. Analyze coverage gaps and drive actions to improve validation coverage and outgoing quality.
- Planning and Execution: Perform validation complexity assessments and provide inputs to the planning process. Develop and execute validation plans, review validation results, and collaborate with other engineers for troubleshooting, failure analysis, and design optimization.
- Design and Implementation: Define design for validation/debug hooks and drive their implementation with design teams. Apply a deep understanding of hardware validation techniques to develop methodologies for process, voltage, and temperature (PVT), system-level tests, and general validation coverage for silicon.
- Automation and Innovation: Develop automated scripts and find software and hardware solutions to resolve silicon bugs. Support innovations in processes and tools.
- Collaboration and Debugging: Collaborate with architecture, verification, software, and tools teams to drive silicon failure debug across functional, electrical, power, performance, and area parameters.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: To be initially considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with 5+ years of industry experience, OR
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with 4+ years of industry experience.
- Skills and Experience:The years of experience above must be in any of the following areas:
- Validation Protocols and Strategy Development
- Software Programming in C/C++ and/or Scripting (such as PythonSV)
- IP Test Writing and Test Plans
- Post-silicon Validation Techniques, Tools, and Debugging
- GPU Architecture and Functional Testing
- Computer Architecture Knowledge and Microarchitecture Fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications: In addition to the minimum requirements, the following skills and experiences are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
- Familiarity with PCIe Standards and Compliance Requirements
- Deep Understanding of HW/FW Flows
- Experience and Hands-on Skills with:
- LTB, ITP, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes
- Scan Dumps and In-circuit Emulators

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$161,230.00-$227,620.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
