This Graduate Program at Thales, located in Gennevilliers, France, offers a 2-year excellence path with three 8-month missions. You will join the NIL department, focusing on designing and developing products like MMR, Radio altimeters, TACAN, data links, IFF, and anti-collision systems for military aircraft, marine, and terrestrial platforms. Your daily life

The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is easily accessible by public transport.

You will join the NIL department responsible for the design and development of MMR products (aircraft landing aids), Radio altimeters, TACAN, data links, friend-or-foe identification (IFF), and anti-collision systems. Our products are embedded in military aircraft, marine and terrestrial platforms, and missiles, for clients in France and for export.

The department is involved throughout the product life cycle, from upstream phases to development, qualification, and industrialization phases. It also participates in commissioning and platform testing with clients.

During your Graduate Program, you will evolve within all services of the department, which you will integrate at the end of the program to work on different products as projects progress from 2027.

Being a System Architect within the NIL department means:

  • Being responsible for leading product design activities meeting the needs of future aircraft, in close collaboration with the Product Design Authority and technical teams.
  • Intervening on evolutions brought to current products, particularly for the addition of new operational capabilities.
  • Being the privileged technical interface for offers within your scope.
  • Being an accelerator in hardware/functional integration activities and problem analysis during the upstream phases of the V-cycle.

  • Graduated from a Grande Ecole d'Ingénieurs (Top Engineering School), do you have initial experience in Electronics, Software Development, or Integration?
