The Inside Sales Representative at Buckman is responsible for new business acquisition across various business segments. Key responsibilities include identifying target customers, following up on web inquiries, executing cold calling campaigns, and managing the sales pipeline. This role requires lead qualification, opportunity development, and closing deals, leveraging Buckman's capabilities and market trends to develop go-to-market strategies. Collaboration with other departments is crucial, focusing on customer acquisition and experience. The role emphasizes driving revenue growth, exceeding sales targets, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales techniques is essential. The position involves driving NA growth with a focus on new customer acquisition, upselling, and recapturing opportunities, all while meeting customers' preferred buying methods.

Inside Sales Representation 
 
Buckman is a privately held, global specialty chemical company with headquarters in Memphis, TN, USA, committed to safeguarding the environment, maintaining safety in the workplace, and promoting sustainable development. Buckman delivers exceptional service and innovative solutions to our customers globally in the pulp and paper, leather, and water treatment sectors to help boost productivity, reduce risk, improve product quality, and provide a measurable return on investment.

Role Summary:     
The Inside Sales Rep key responsibility is new business acquisition for Buckman's business segments through identifying target customers, following up on web inquiries, execute on cold calling campaigns with key performance metrics focused on lead qualification, pipeline development, and closing opportunities. Leverage Buckman's capabilities, utilize voice of customer and market trends, in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and target campaigns to meet sales and profitability. Participate in the SOP processes. Collaborate with business development, research and development, marketing and technology, and smart digital in accelerating customer acquisition and providing unmatched Customer Experience. This role is responsible for championing a high safety culture, setting the strategy to win, and delivering results. 
Main Responsibilities:     
Drive NA Growth with portfolio of Customers that can and prefer to be served from a virtual platform. Initial focus will be on New Customer Acquisition, Upsell, and Recapture opportunities. Key to meeting the customer the way they want to buy, enabling accelerated growth, and lowering our cost to serve. This is a key first step to the larger omni-channel approach. 
New Customer Acquisition-Increased Revenue, GP, and Share of Wallet 
•Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance metrics to drive revenue growth.
•Build sustainable Sales Pipeline Growth/Health and forecast revenue to ensure achievement of targets.
•Drive Inside Sales process from Demand/Lead generation, qualification, Customer engagement, and conversion.
•Proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
•Identify and qualify sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and requirements.
•Present and demonstrate the value of our products and services to potential customers.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities in Dynamics CRM system.
•Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
•Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively evaluate opportunities.
•Execute New Customer Acquisition/Share of Wallet marketing campaigns.
•Drive Inside Sales process from Demand/Lead generation, qualification, Customer engagement, and conversion.
•Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling sales materials and messaging
 
 
Requirements: 
•Bachelors' Degree 
•2 years + experience in Inside Sales or Business Development with proven performance record
•Proven track record of meeting or exceeding Sales Targets and KPIs
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
•Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
•Experience in progressing customers through the sales cycle starting from research and discovery to opportunity development and closing.
•Strong organizational and time management skills.
•Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
•Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
•Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools.
•Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
•Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
•Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude 
 
Preferred Experience:  
•2 years + of Chemical Industry Experience
•Mastery of Insight Selling
•Strong understanding of smart digital solutions, emerging technologies and potential impact on both the strategy and customer opportunities. 
•Experience with remote or hybrid work environments
•Understanding of business/finance and terminology
