Must have:
  • Basic programming in Java and Groovy.
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
  • Familiarity with RDBMS and SQL queries.
  • Understanding of XML and Apache Tomcat.
  • Administration skills on Windows and UNIX.
Good to have:
  • Experience with OpenText Content Server.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled (Junior Java Full Stack Engineer for support) Technical Consultant to join our team, specializing in OpenText Content Server and OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and supporting OpenText solutions for our clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and implement OpenText Content Server and ECM solutions.
  • Develop and customize applications using Java and Groovy scripting.
  • Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to maintain user interfaces within OpenText solutions.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for OpenText platforms.
  • Communicate with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver training.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues through analytical thinking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic programming in Java and Groovy.
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and ability to write simple SQL queries.
  • Basic understanding of XML and Apache Tomcat.
  • Understanding of local networks and network protocols.
  • Administration skills on Windows and UNIX operating systems.
  • Experience or familiarity with OpenText Content Server and ECM solutions is a plus
  • Experience with ECM/ERP products such as Microsoft SharePoint, IBM FileNet, SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in ECM-focused roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in technical consultancy roles is a plus.
