Senior Manager Agile Program Management (CONTRACT)

As a Contract/Freelance Senior Manager Agile Program Management at Publicis Sapient, you will partner with clients undertaking major digital business or engineering transformation engagements. You will lead cross-functional, globally distributed teams in planning, estimation, and delivery, utilizing Agile methodologies to achieve client success. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality digital solutions and optimizing program management across multiple workstreams.

Your Impact:

• Plan, document, and implement the optimal team structure (roles, people, expertise) to ensure high-quality delivery, exceeding client expectations.
• Lead teams to deliver customer experience and engineering solutions, driving measurable client business value.
• Leverage Agile methodologies to ensure effective program management, identifying the best approaches, methods, processes, and tools for high-quality outcomes.
• Drive lasting changes to clients’ ways of working by applying a consultative approach, defining and measuring customer value at each milestone.
• Organize and lead ongoing planning sessions to identify key risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring smooth execution across all workstreams.
• Use insights and mitigation strategies to manage risks and optimize delivery within projects and programs.
• Guide internal leaders and external senior stakeholders in Agile delivery methods, ceremonies, and protocols, ensuring alignment and timely results.
• Manage engagement commercial metrics (e.g., client outcomes, burn rate, revenue, margins) to support account health and planning within the industry vertical.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to lead and coach teams using Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid approaches.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels, ensuring smooth management of workstreams and outcomes.
• Ability to earn trust and influence stakeholders without formal authority, guiding teams to desired outcomes.
• Proficient in Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office applications for effective program management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain project flow in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading teams to implement digital technologies, including cloud platforms, customer experience platforms, DevOps, and AI/data platforms.
• Experience in managing program-level financials and metrics, including margin, revenue, and burn rate.

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Certification in Scrum, SAFe, or other Agile methodologies.
• Experience in digital agencies or consultancies leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Contract Details: full-time contract, 40-hours per week. Please note: This is a long term contract role for a defined temporal term subject to possible extension or hire.  

Availability to Travel: This role requires availability to travel to the client’s offices in Monterrey, Mexico, primarily during the initial weeks of the assignment to conduct workshops and establish a strong client relationship. All travel expenses will be fully covered by the company.
