The App Store is a vibrant marketplace serving over half a billion users weekly, facilitating trillions in developer billings. This role seeks a Sr. Product Manager to lead Core Search Intelligence and Algorithm for the App Store. Responsibilities include advancing the search experience through experimenting with ranking systems, deepening semantic understanding of apps, user intent, and context. The role also owns features like search suggestions, spell correction, hints, and search results. Additionally, it leads fraud and abuse prevention in search using ML models and defines model requirements for international storefronts. The objective is to define, deliver, market, and measure search experiences leveraging algorithms and AI/ML across all Apple platforms. This involves understanding user needs, defining strategy, identifying problems, and driving optimization through data analysis and user research. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure privacy, trust, safety, and AI principles is key, alongside partnering with Engineering and Program Management to build best-in-class search experiences.
