Job Description

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for market strategy planning and execution for MCU products in target markets like industrial, automotive, and IoT. This includes formulating long-term strategies, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with product and R&D teams. The role also involves business development, leading customer negotiations, building partnerships, managing channel partners, and analyzing competitor dynamics. Additionally, the position entails planning and executing marketing activities, producing marketing materials, and enhancing brand exposure. The manager will monitor business data, analyze performance, and optimize strategies, while also collaborating across departments and participating in industry ecosystem construction and standard development.

  • Proficient in Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Fluent in English for cross-border negotiations and marketing.

Responsibilities:

1. Market Strategy Planning and Execution

• Formulate long-term market expansion strategies and annual business plans for MCU products in target markets (e.g., industrial, automotive, IoT, etc). Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to identify high-potential business opportunities.

• Collaborate with product and R&D teams to translate market demands into product features and promotion strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.

 

2. Business Development and Management

• Lead the development and cooperation negotiations with key customers in targeted segments, deeply explore customer needs, and provide customized application solutions.

• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customer key stakeholders, drive project implementation, and achieve business growth.

• Extract value propositions from customer success cases to enhance market competitiveness.

• Establish and optimize the channel partners for MCU products, including distributors and solution providers, and formulate channel incentive policies and cooperation rules. Attract more partners through ecosystem co-construction to expand market coverage.

• Manage partner resources, regularly evaluate cooperation performance, provide technical support and market training to ensure efficient channel operations.

• Analyze competitor dynamics and market feedback, formulate differentiated competition strategies, and strengthen the market positioning of the company's MCU products.

• Expand ecosystem collaborations, establish strategic alliances with chip partners, IP suppliers, and software service providers to jointly develop markets.

 

3. Market Promotion and Brand Building

• Plan and execute marketing activities for MCU products, including online/offline exhibitions, technical seminars, and product launches.

• Lead the production of marketing materials (white papers, application and technical notes, etc), and enhance brand exposure through social media, industry media, and other channels.

 

4. Business Data Analysis and Strategy Optimization

• Monitor market business data to track key indicators such as sales data, market share, and customer satisfaction.

• Regularly analyze business performance, identify potential risks and opportunities, and propose optimization suggestions (e.g., pricing strategies, regional market adjustments).

• Provide market decision support for management to drive sustained business growth.

 

5. Cross-Department Collaboration and Resource Integration

• Collaborate closely with product managers and R&D teams to feedback market demands and promote product iteration.

• Coordinate technical support teams to provide pre-sales, in-sales, and after-sales technical services for customers.

 

6. Industry Ecosystem Construction and Standard Participation

• Represent the company in industry associations and technical alliance activities, and promote the formulation of MCU-related technical standards.

• Organize or participate in industry technical exchanges to enhance the company's voice and influence in the MCU field.

 

Requirements:

1. Education Background

• Bachelors degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields. Candidates with a combined technical and business background, or an MBA degree, are preferred to support in-depth understanding of technical products and market strategy formulation.

 

2. Work Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in integrated circuits, semiconductors, or embedded systems, with at least 5 years in MCU market development or business cooperation.

• Successfully led at least 5 market promotion and customer cooperation projects for MCU products in vertical segments with hands-on experience in 0-1 new market/customer development.

• Prior experience in cross-border business expansion or overseas market (e.g., Europe, America, APAC) operations is preferred.

 

3. Professional Skills

• Industry Knowledge: Proficient in MCU technical principles, application scenarios, and industry ecosystem; familiar with product portfolios and competitive landscapes.

• Market Analysis: Capable of predicting market trends, skilled in using tools like SWOT and Porter's Five Forces model for competitive analysis and opportunity mining.

• Business Negotiation: Expert in key account negotiation and strategic cooperation agreement signing; familiar with commercial interactions and negotiations.

• Channel Management: Mastery of distributor management systems, with experience in designing channel incentive policies and performance evaluation.

 

4. Comprehensive Competencies

• Resource Integration: Possess extensive industry networks, including relationships with leading customers, upstream/downstream supply chain partners, and industry associations.

• Communication & Coordination: Excellent cross-department collaboration skills, able to efficiently interface with product, R&D, and technical support teams.

• Demonstrate strong innovation awareness and execution ability, capable of quickly responding to market changes and adjusting business strategies.

• Data Analysis: Proficient in Excel or other data analysis tools, driving business decisions and strategy optimization through data.

• English Proficiency: Fluent in English, capable of independent cross-border business negotiations and international marketing, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
