A Day in the Life:
We’re looking for a talented and motivated APAC Recruiter to play a key role in hiring top-tier talent across China and the APAC region. You will be pivotal in driving our regional recruitment strategy, primarily for business roles, working closely with hiring managers to identify quality candidates who align with our business objectives and company values. The Impact You’ll Make:

Lead end-to-end recruitment for roles across the APAC region, particularly in China, covering initial sourcing, interviews, and offer negotiations.

Guide candidates through each stage of the hiring process with transparency and efficiency, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify high-quality candidates, leveraging networks, talent pools, and social platforms, including WeChat and LinkedIn, to reach top talent.

Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partner to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.

Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights on the talent market and recommendations for hiring strategies.

Stay updated on APAC market trends, especially within China, to provide insights that inform recruitment efforts and competitive positioning.

Utilize local expertise to tailor recruitment efforts, enhancing our employer brand through targeted campaigns and outreach.

Ensure data integrity and regularly track, analyze, and report on key recruiting metrics.

Contribute to the improvement of recruitment processes, finding efficiencies and innovations to meet evolving business needs.

Support our employer branding strategy in China, enhancing visibility and reputation in the local talent market through campus recruitment, networking events, and social media campaigns.
Who You Are:

4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within the tech industry. Previous experience recruiting within APAC, especially China, is highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both.

Deep understanding of the APAC talent landscape, especially within the China market, with proven success in sourcing talent across diverse channels.

Proficiency in using ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, BossZhipin, WeChat) to track, engage, and manage candidates.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, with a collaborative approach to achieving hiring goals.

Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and able to adjust to changing priorities.

A self-starter who thrives working independently, with a strong ability to take initiative and drive recruitment efforts forward with minimal supervision.

An understanding of cultural nuances within the APAC region, especially within China, to foster an inclusive and engaging recruitment experience.
We use Covey as part of our hiring and / or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT. As part of the evaluation process we provide Covey with job requirements and candidate submitted applications. We began using Covey Scout for Inbound on March 12, 2024.
