Cyara is seeking a Full Stack Developer to cooperate with the Product team in creating and updating web-based portals with various functionalities. The role involves maintaining and developing new features for existing web applications built on PHP, NodeJS, and Python with MySQL databases. Responsibilities include maintaining legacy systems in PHP (CakePHP and Core PHP) and Python, converting wireframes to user interfaces, creating web architecture, using Docker for scaling, providing guidance on best practices, participating in code reviews, developing new customer experiences, scoping and designing new features, contributing to process improvements, documenting designs, mentoring junior engineers, troubleshooting issues, and participating in Agile ceremonies.
Must have:
- 5+ years Full Stack Development experience
- 3+ years PHP experience (CakePHP preferred)
- Python scripting experience
- MySQL database knowledge
- Understanding of HTTP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, REST, JSON
- Strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 knowledge
- Git code versioning experience
- Good written and verbal English skills
Good to have:
- NodeJS experience
- Docker understanding
- Unix/Linux environment knowledge
- CI/CD pipelines familiarity

The Full Stack Developer will cooperate with the Product team in order to create and update different web-based portals that offer various functionalities to end-users.
You will have to maintain and develop new features for our existing web applications built on top of PHP, NodeJS and Python with MySQL databases.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintain our Legacy systems written in PHP (CakePHP and Core PHP).
- Maintain our Legacy systems written in Python.
- Convert wireframes and mock-ups into fully functioning user interfaces.
- Take part in creating the web architecture for new developments.
- Use Docker containers to isolate and scale processes on demand.
- Provide guidance and advice on best practices and future technologies.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Combine knowledge of frameworks, tools and to develop new customer experiences in terms of quality and functionality.
- Scoping and design of new features.
- Contributing to improvements of methodologies, standards, and processes.
- Comprehensive internal documentation of designs and product components.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, conducting thorough code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and development environments.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and contribute to Agile development practices.
Let’s talk about your skills/expertise:
- 5+ years of hands-on Full Stack Development experience, with a proven track record of building and maintaining complex web applications.
- Extensive hands-on experience with PHP and a PHP framework(preferably CakePHP), at least 3 years.
- Good experience with Python scripting.
- Very good understanding of databases: extensive knowledge, with performance and optimization experience – MySQL is a must.
- In-depth understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, REST, and JSON.
- Strong knowledge with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Good knowledge of code versioning using Git.
- Good communication skills, including written and verbal English.
Desired:
- Experience with NodeJS.
- Understanding of Docker.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
