Job Description

Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to assist customers with real-world engineering simulation projects and integrate Ansys software into their design workflows. Utilize advanced engineering knowledge and Ansys AI-based platforms to ensure customer success. Be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality solutions, advancing pervasive simulation knowledge, and impacting customer and Ansys success. This role focuses on technical support for Ansys Fluids Products and does not qualify for immigration sponsorship.
Must have:
  • Deploy and exploit all available resources, including Ansys AI-based platforms to complement your engineering expertise and knowledge of simulation to assist customers in solving their engineering problems and enabling their usage of Ansys Fluids Products.
  • Ensure high Customer Satisfaction and Customer Success that enable customers' usage/deployment/adoption of Ansys software
  • Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers.
  • Share your extensive knowledge and experience by creating & updating content to ensure the most relevant help and information is available for customers and internal colleagues.
  • Lead and initiate team projects (e.g. content creation, process deployment, etc.).
  • Submit suggestions for product improvement, when needed. File defect reports and verify fixes adhering to defect reporting processes.
  • Participate in application field testing of new releases to ensure that new features and workflows will address customer requirements.
  • Evaluate the Ansys AI-based support platforms' effectiveness by analyzing the AI-based responses to answer customers' questions, specifically on the accuracy/relevance and subsequent corresponding human corrections.
  • Be enthusiastic about learning and promoting how an LLM and other AI-based technologies can assist engineers' abilities to help Ansys customers.
  • Develop subject matter expertise and specialization on Ansys simulation products and applications
  • Learn and gain expertise in new technical areas as and when required for the team & personal development
  • On an as-needed basis​ provide expertise-level support to other business functions including Sales and Marketing.
  • Participate in other strategic team and company initiatives, as needed
  • Required Education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace or related field
  • Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0
  • Demonstrated use of Ansys Fluids software or knowledge of other commercial CAE software packages
  • Expert-level knowledge of Fluid dynamics, Heat transfer, Numerical Methods and Thermodynamics
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to implement numerical models to obtain practical engineering solutions to difficult problems
  • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English
  • Qualified to handle ITAR/Export Controlled models
Good to have:
  • 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles associated with using engineering simulation software, where the ability to identify customer requirements, effectively communicate solutions, and deliver results have been demonstrated
  • Experience with Ansys tools, such as Ansys Fluent, Ansys CFX, and Ansys SpaceClaim, is preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time

You will use advanced-level engineering knowledge along with Ansys AI-based platforms to make our customers successful. You will be a part of our positive, dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate engineers striving to deliver the highest quality solutions to our customers, advancing your pervasive simulation knowledge, experience, and impact on the success of our customers and Ansys.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Required Education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace or related field
  • Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0
  • Demonstrated use of Ansys Fluids software or knowledge of other commercial CAE software packages
  • Expert-level knowledge of Fluid dynamics, Heat transfer, Numerical Methods and Thermodynamics
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to implement numerical models to obtain practical engineering solutions to difficult problems
  • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
