Design, deploy services, and collaborate with data engineers and scientists in AI/ML data platforms. Write code, document, and participate in code reviews. Scale and operationalize distributed systems like Spark, Kafka, Trino, or Hadoop in both on premise and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment. Ensure data infrastructure offers reliable high-quality data with consistent service level agreements (SLAs) monitoring, alerting, incident response and continual investment to reduce tech-debt. Capture search telemetry from physical devices and collect dozens of data sets from Apple, global partners, and the internet. Ensure the reliability and performance at the highest level and to evolve the platform infrastructure to meet our customer’s needs. Develop strategies and implement initiatives to increase customer engagement through targeted communication and personalized solutions, optimizing client satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and system administrators, to outline the structural needs of the data platform. This involves facilitating discussions to define requirements that accommodate diverse technical perspectives and align with overarching business objectives. Develop and maintain efficient data ingestion pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformation workflows to facilitate the timely and accurate processing of data. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,259 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
