The Strategic Agency Manager at Google Customer Solutions (GCS) in Taipei, Taiwan, is responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with traditional and digital media agencies. This role involves driving growth through agency-managed accounts, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing tailored Google solutions to boost client business. Key responsibilities include collaborating with agencies to optimize advertising investment, achieving new and existing business goals, creating data-driven agency plans, acting as a trusted advisor to agency executives and account teams, analyzing data trends, and presenting business proposals. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, extensive experience in sales, media sales, account management, or related fields within the Taiwanese market, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. The role requires strategic thinking, project management skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing and advertising landscapes.

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, media sales, account management, marketing or consulting within a customer facing environment (on-boarding customers, building and maintaining a sales pipeline) in the Taiwan market.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently in order to support the client and partnership management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, brand marketing, or in a media agency environment.
  • Experience improving business relationships and developing new business opportunities.
  • Experience in export, including Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer export industry experiences.
  • Experience in establishing relationships and maintaining a presence with performance agencies or traditional media agencies.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.
  • Ability to think about complex issues and to develop recommendations and action plans.

As a Strategic Agency Manager, you will focus on growing long-term relationships with managed traditional media and digital agencies, and drive growth through agency-managed accounts with large brand and performance opportunities. You will provide the highest level of customer service to our agency partners. You will develop Google solutions to drive business growth for high opportunity customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and consult with agencies with the goal of extending relationships, increasing our customer and agency base, and optimizing their advertising investment.
  • Deliver against goals on new and existing business, while prioritizing and delivering an excellent business experience to Google's managed agency partners.
  • Build data-driven long-term agency plans leveraging market insights and research. Synchronize agency plans with our agency team and internal cross-functional teams to further develop our agencies.
  • Be an ongoing trusted thought partner for executive C/B-level down to specific account teams, including Media Planners and Buyers on initiatives and agency-level planning.
  • Analyze data trends and customer performance, develop business plans, and prepare and conduct pitches and business presentations.
