Key responsibilities include developing trade marketing plans, collaborating with sales teams, building relationships with retailers, launching new products, implementing promotional materials, preparing presentations for retailers, managing budgets, and improving the consumer journey across all channels. The role requires strong communication and presentation skills, project management abilities, and a deep understanding of the retail landscape.

Role Overview:

Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies specifically focused on building relationships with retailers, aiming to increase product visibility and sales within their channels by implementing impactful in-store promotions, new products, … while collaborating closely with the Commercial Manager and Commercial Planning Manager to achieve overall sales goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and agree Trade marketing plans with Commercial Manager and Commercial Planning Manager to support retailer goals, revenue growth incl. D@R
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives and communicate effectively to keep them updated on trade marketing activities and results.
  • Building strong relationships with key Retailers, negotiating visibility during promotions and ensuring brand awareness in-store and online
  • New Product Launches: Collaborating with sales, Ops and marketing teams to develop launch plans for new products, ensuring in-store and online visibility.
  • Implementing impactful signage, POS and promotional materials to drive customer engagement and purchase decisions.
  • Collaborate with Commercial managers / Commercial Planning Manage to prepare and deliver presentations to retailers on products and strategies
  • Support execution of Trade Marketing strategies by working directly with retailers
  • Project manage implementation of activations (e.g. IDUs & content, screens, product demonstrations, furniture)
  • Make recommendations to Commercial Managers on how to improve the consumer journey (omnichannel - in-store and online) to increase revenue, D@R and product awareness
  • Manage budgets for Trade Marketing Business Operations costs (inc. D@R) and Co-Op Investment

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5 years (or equivalent) experience in Trade marketing / Marketing / Sales focused roles
  • Ability to create and implement effective trade marketing plans
  • Ability to oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of trade marketing campaigns
  • Experience building meaningful relationships with retailers, 3rd parties, and internal teams through clear and effective communication
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate marketing plans and results
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of Retail landscape
  • Ability to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations and other teams to achieve shared goals.

Languages:

  • English: Fluent (verbal and written communication skills)
  • Dutch: Fluent (verbal and written communication skills)
