The Sales Development team is the engine of our growth. You will be the first point of contact with potential higher education clients, introducing them to Conga’s value in supporting revenue-generating functions such as advancement, donor relations, contract management, and financial operations.

Higher Education-Focused Sales Instinct

You’ll drive market share by identifying and qualifying leads in the higher education sector, particularly among university advancement offices, finance teams, and administrative leadership. Your ability to connect with professionals in fundraising, research grants, and financial operations will set you apart.

Takes Initiative

You don’t wait for instructions—you identify opportunities and act. Whether it’s crafting a new outreach strategy tailored to advancement teams or proactively researching university revenue challenges, you take ownership of your work and drive results.

Strong Attention to Detail & Time Management

Though prior SDR experience is not required, we need individuals with strong organizational and follow-up skills. You will manage outreach efforts to multiple institutions, tracking engagement and optimizing your approach based on data-driven insights.

Resourceful & Collaborative

You know that success in higher education sales is a team effort. You leverage internal and external resources, collaborate with colleagues, and continuously learn from industry trends to improve your outreach strategy.

Education & Industry Knowledge

Whether through direct experience in higher education sales or a strong desire to specialize in this space, you are eager to understand the unique financial and operational challenges universities face—and how Conga can solve them.

· Higher Education Sales Experience: Prior experience engaging with university advancement offices, finance teams, or administrative leadership is a plus.

· Strong Communication Skills: You can confidently initiate and lead conversations with higher education professionals, adjusting your messaging based on their specific challenges.

· Tech Savvy: Experience with CRM platforms—Salesforce experience is a plus.

· Innovative Thinking: You’re eager to explore new tactics for engaging higher education prospects, staying up to date with trends in fundraising, financial operations, and digital transformation.
