Job Description

POLITICO reports on global politics. Since its founding in 2007, POLITICO has grown to a team of over 1100 employees in North America and Europe. As a Working Student Sales, you will support the sales team in daily business, create presentations, research potential clients, actively approach them, maintain CRM data, and organize sales appointments and events.
Must have:
  • Create presentations and compelling pitch decks in PowerPoint
  • Research potential clients and contacts, e.g., on LinkedIn, in the lobby register, in CRM systems or via press sources
  • Identify and actively approach potential clients – for example, through creative outreach strategies, inbound leads, marketing campaigns or networking events
  • Maintain and update data in CRM tools like Salesforce or in Excel lists
  • Organize, conduct and follow up on (sales) appointments and POLITICO events
  • Support the sales team in daily business, e.g., through market analyses and coordination with international colleagues
Good to have:
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce or initial practical experience in B2B sales, political environment or start-up context

Job Details

What you will move with us:

  • create presentations and compelling pitch decks in PowerPoint

What you bring with you:

  • you are currently an enrolled student (e.g. in politics, business administration, communication, media, marketing or similar)
  • you are interested in media and (European) political developments
  • you have initial experience with common AI tools as well as MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • you show initiative and independence, strong communication skills and a high degree of accuracy and responsibility
  • ideally, you have knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce or initial practical experience in B2B sales, political environment or start-up context
  • you have very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
