Job Description

As a Business Development Representative at Mimecast, you will be at the forefront of redefining cybersecurity and human risk management. This role involves prospecting and generating high-quality leads using advanced tools, partnering with Sales Representatives to build a robust sales pipeline, deepening your understanding of cybersecurity, and effectively communicating Mimecast's value proposition. Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly meeting targets is crucial. Success involves not just closing deals but also personal and professional growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Utilize advanced tools to prospect and generate high-quality leads.

  • Partner with Sales Representatives to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

  • Deepen your understanding of cybersecurity and effectively communicate our value proposition.

  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly meeting targets.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong coachability and a drive to succeed.

  • Genuine interest in software sales and customer-facing roles.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Must be available to work a hybrid schedule in the Lexington office at least two days per week.
