The Director of Marketing Data Strategy will serve as a critical link between Marketing, Product and Operation teams across the organization. In this role, you’ll help Nasdaq’s revenue marketing teams extract more insight and value from their data by spearheading enterprise-wide data projects that span the entire MarTech stack, with specific focus on Nasdaq’s marketing data platform.

- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership for topics related to our Marketing Platforms, providing insights and recommendations to support evolving goals and business needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal partners to influence business and technology strategies. Learn and understand their critical business problems, dive into white space areas to identify the appropriate solutions to address, and then design a data strategy and platform roadmap to support these goals.
- Spearhead process improvement efforts to ensure we collect better data by translating business segment strategy into functional plans for execution.
- Lead the vision and roadmap for our Marketing Data Platform, enabling teams to efficiently and effectively deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns across all owned channels.
- Partner with Operations, Technology, Marketing, and Analytics teams to identify opportunities, build business cases, and implement solutions that will improve the customer experience, drive operational efficiency, and support growth initiatives across multiple lines of business.
We are looking for someone with:
- Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal stakeholders, including senior-level executives, developers, and product experts
- Strong background in MarTech and Marketing Operations Performance who understands campaign management, customer relationship management, customer data platforms and marketing automation system processes.
- Ability to read and understand campaign plans and map these back to first-party data dependencies.
- Excellent understanding of audience development, data segmentation, targeting and the changing landscape based on third-party cookie depreciation.
- Demonstrated Marketing domain experience who is familiar with concepts such as ROMI, ABM, digital marketing, and marketing measurement in general.
Experience:
- Experience with customer data platforms (CDP), customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation (MAP) experience required; Adobe Experience Platform and Real-Time CDP, Marketo, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) preferred.
- Ability to innovate and think creatively to solve complex problems.
