Job Description

The Hardware Design department is responsible for providing hardware solutions for all CAE training devices. This multidisciplinary team has extensive experience in many sectors such as mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering. The main mission is to design, customize and manage the development of cost-effective and innovative hardware solutions that align with CAE's strategic plan and customer requirements. The team is ready to provide high-tech products and services that are part of a digital ecosystem. Responsibilities include analyzing drawings, specifications and requirements, defining simulator hardware configuration, developing material lists, wiring diagrams and electrical system diagrams, participating in design activities, defining and preparing technical documentation and drawings, supporting vendors and suppliers, participating in technical and compliance assessments, and conducting design reviews.
Must have:
  • Participate in analysis of drawings and specifications.
  • Define simulator hardware configuration.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering concepts.
  • Knowledge of CAD systems, word processors and spreadsheets.
  • Skills in technical writing and communication.

Le service Conception du matériel est responsable de fournir des solutions matérielles pour l’ensemble des dispositifs de formation de CAE. Notre équipe multidisciplinaire, formée et dévouée à sa tâche, dispose d’un vaste savoir-faire dans de nombreux secteurs tels le génie mécanique, génie électrique et génie électronique.

 
Notre principale mission est de concevoir, de personnaliser et de gérer le développement de solutions matérielles rentables et innovants qui sont alignés sur le plan stratégique de CAE et les exigences de nos clients. Nous sommes prêts à fournier des produits et services haute technologiques qui font partie d’un écosystème numérique.

Responsabilités

  • Participer à l’analyse des dessins, des spécifications et exigences à la fois des clients internes et externes.
  • Aider à définir la configuration du matériel du simulateur, développer des listes de matériel, des diagrammes du câblage et des schémas du système électrique nécessaire pour stimuler ces équipements dans un environnement de simulation.
  • Participer aux activités de conception menées entre les différents groupes d’ingénierie et la fabrication.
  • Définir et préparer la documentation et les dessins techniques relatifs aux instruments et panneaux simulés
  • Supporter les vendeurs et fournisseurs des instruments simulés
  • Participer aux évaluations techniques et de conformité des instruments/panneaux simulés
  • Effectuer des révisions de requis et de conceptions (PDRs, CDRs)
  • Participer aux soumissions de projet
  • Trouver des solutions techniques pour rencontrer les requis des projets

Exigences

  • Baccalauréat en génie électrique ou l’équivalent.
  • Forte connaissance des concepts d’ingénierie électriques.
  • Bonne connaissance pratique des systèmes de CAO et des logiciels de traitement de texte et des tableurs électroniques.
  • Habilités en rédaction technique et en communication.
  • Connaissance des systèmes électriques, avioniques et des systèmes d'alimentation.
