As an Engineering Change Management Analyst/Associate at Aristocrat Gaming in Las Vegas, NV, you will be instrumental in managing the lifecycle of engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change orders (ECOs). Your work will directly impact on our engineering processes and product quality. This role is crucial for ensuring all changes are accurately documented, compliant, and efficiently processed. You will analyze change impacts and dependencies, conduct thorough audits and data validation of hardware ECR/ECO packages, maintain a centralized repository for change-related documentation, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication, risk assessment, and decision-making on ECO updates and resolutions. Additionally, you will compile and analyze ECO metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improving processes, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, and identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the change management process. You will utilize your expertise in PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter), ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics365, MAX, M2K), and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel, Tableau) to drive efficiency, support strategic decision-making, and develop data-driven recommendations for process optimization.
Manage the lifecycle of engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change orders (ECOs), including analyzing change impacts and dependencies.
Ensure all ECRs and ECOs are comprehensively documented, accurate, and compliant with company procedures.
Conduct thorough audits and perform data validation of all hardware ECR/ECO packages to verify accuracy and completeness.
Maintain a centralized repository for change-related documentation, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in document control and information management.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication, risk assessment, and decision-making on ECO updates and resolutions.
Compile and analyze ECO metrics (e.g., cycle time, approval rates, implementation timelines) to identify trends, root causes of inefficiencies, and opportunities for improving ECO management and document control processes. Develop and present data-driven recommendations for process optimization.
Ensure all ECOs comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Support audits and inspections related to ECO documentation and change management practices.
Conduct gap and root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions to maintain compliance.
Provide training and guidance on ECO procedures, analytical tools, and best practices in document control to engineering and other relevant departments.
Deliver MAX, D365, M2K, and TC workflow training as necessary.
Proactively prepare and distribute meeting agendas, materials, and logistics for ECO meetings, ensuring the participation of key stakeholders (design engineers, manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, etc.).
Monitor ECO progress in the workflow tool, coordinate with activity owners as needed, and proactively identify and mitigate potential delays or roadblocks.
Attend Software ERB meetings.
Assist downstream teams with quality checks, bug resolution, and task assignments for HW ECOs.
Develop process documentation, reports, dashboards, and training materials as needed for downstream teams.
Identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the change management process.
Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to interpret change data, forecast potential issues, and support strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into change management activities and performance for stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process data and recommending enhancements for engineering change management.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or proven experience in a related field.
Proven experience (typically 2 years) in engineering change management, data analysis, or a similar analytical role within a manufacturing or technology environment.
Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter), ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics365, MAX, M2K), and collaboration tools is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel, Tableau) for creating insightful reports and dashboards.
Strong understanding of change management principles, hardware/software engineering lifecycle processes, and document control best practices.
Excellent project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Solid knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) best practices; experience with customization and configuration is a plus.
Proficiency in root cause analysis, process mapping, and process optimization techniques.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Experience with data-driven decision-making and translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations
