The Pre-Silicon validation engineers are responsible for ensuring the logic correctness during the development of each new Intel CPU product before it is shipped to production. The role involves developing dedicated verification environments and tools, exercising the design to verify its logical correctness. They will use state-of-the-art languages and tools, and advanced software engineering methodologies. They will develop expertise with Intel Architecture and Micro Architecture and will be deeply involved in the process of defining new Intel features. They are expected to be independent, creative, TeamPlayers, with the ability to innovate and demonstrate quality.
Must have:
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant field
  • 5+ years of RTL Verification experience
  • Knowledge in VLSI design and/or verification
Good to have:
  • Experience in developing validation collaterals in emulation environment
  • Experience in developing RTL validation environment
  • Experience with Verilog/SVTB/OVM/UVM and Specman
  • Experience with Formal Verification CPU usage
  • Familiarity with CPU X86 architecture

About the Job:
Pre-Silicon validation engineers are responsible to ensure the logic correctness during the development of each new Intel CPU product before it is being shipped to production. The role includes developing dedicated verification environments and tools, while driving a complex process of exercising the design to verify its logical correctness. These environments are developed using unique, state-of-the-art languages and tools, and advanced software engineering methodologies. Various validation techniques are used, such as simulation, emulation, formal verification, and dynamic unit verification, while offering a unique Hardware-Software experience. In addition to various tools, languages and validation methodologies, engineers will develop expertise with Intel Architecture and Micro Architecture and will be deeply involved in the process of defining new Intel features. They are expected to be independent, creative, TeamPlayer , with the ability to innovate new solutions and demonstrate uncompromised quality during their work.


Position is for Experienced Pre-Silicon validation engineers in Haifa Intel site.

Qualifications:

A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
At least 5 years of overall experience performing RTL Verification and/or logic design using System Verilog.
Knowledge in Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) design and/or verification
Experience in developing validation collaterals in emulation environment - Advantage.
Experience in developing Register Transfer Level (RTL) validation environment -- Advantage.
Experience in working with Verilog/SVTB/OVM/UVM and Specman -- Advantage.
Experience with Formal Verification CPU usage.
Familiarity with CPU X86 architecture.
