The Impact of an Instructional Designer at Coupa: 

Instructional Designers at Coupa create and maintain best-in-class eLearning, instructor-led, and virtual instructor-led content for Coupa focused role based training to serve customers, partners, and employees. They have a solid knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory, and technical training best practices. They must possess a strong bias for action and an unwavering commitment to making our internal and external customers and partners successful. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to identify learning needs and define objectives.
• Design and develop impactful learning solutions for customers, partners, and employees across multiple formats (e.g., online, ILT, vILT).
• Apply instructional design principles to create engaging content, including scripts, storyboards, and multimedia assets.
• Use authoring tools to build interactive learning experiences and ensure content meets quality and style standards.
• Manage end-to-end content development projects, working closely with SMEs, curriculum managers, and delivery teams.

• 2+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or technical training, ideally in a SaaS/software environment.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging learning content and documentation.
• Proficient with instructional design methodologies and tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
• BA/BS in Education, Instructional Design, or related field, with excellent writing, editing, and attention to detail.
