Job Description

Bally's Corporation is seeking a Marketing Compliance Senior Manager to lead the marketing compliance function. The role involves ensuring all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities comply with laws and regulations. Responsibilities include establishing review and approval processes for marketing materials, acting as a key escalation point, collaborating with legal and compliance teams, and partnering with marketing to ensure creativity and strategic impact. The manager will design and implement compliance policies, deliver training on advertising standards, assess and manage compliance risks, conduct monitoring and audits, and assist with regulatory inquiries. A background in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles, strong analytical and communication skills, commercial mindedness, and an understanding of the media landscape and digital marketing are required.

Who we are 

Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It currently owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. It also owns Bally's Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, online gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform. 

With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, Bally's will own and/or manage 15 casinos across 10 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.  

Well, what about the team? 

Bally’s is seeking a Marketing Compliance Senior Manager to lead the marketing compliance function. Reporting to the Director of Interactive Planning you will ensure all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. 

So, what will you be doing?

  • Establishing and overseeing a clear process for reviewing and approving marketing materials.
  • Acting as a decision-maker and key point of escalation within the marketing and marketing compliance functions.
  • Collaborating with legal and compliance teams to shape effective ways of working that empower autonomy within the marketing compliance function.
  • Ensuring all marketing activities comply with applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal standards.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining marketing compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they evolve with regulatory changes and business needs.
  • Delivering engaging training to marketing teams on advertising standards, risk mitigation, and relevant regulations.
  • Partnering closely with marketing to ensure materials are compliant without compromising on creativity or strategic impact.
  • Identifying, assessing, and managing compliance risks, recommending and overseeing improvements and corrective actions as needed.
  • Conducting ongoing monitoring of marketing practices, perform regular audits, and support internal investigations.
  • Assisting with regulatory enquiries and ensure timely, accurate documentation and responses related to marketing practices.

And what will you need? 

  • Have experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role, ideally within a regulated industry.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business guidance.
  • Be commercially minded, with a pragmatic approach to compliance.
  • Possess the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have a good understanding of the media landscape and digital marketing practices.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be confident in challenging constructively and diplomatically when needed.
  • Possess strong presentation skills and the ability to influence and inform across teams.
  • Have a flexible communication style, able to tailor messaging to the audience while maintaining consistency.
  • Have a collaborative mindset, actively promoting cross-departmental engagement and open communication.
  • Possess excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands.
