As the Marketing Manager at Annapurna Interactive, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing strategies for a curated portfolio of games. This role involves leading marketing efforts across various areas, including publishing, brand, community, and performance marketing. You will work closely with the leadership team and cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive marketing. You will shape the identity and positioning of games throughout their lifecycle, from announcement to post-launch. This position requires a deep understanding of the gaming landscape and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategies, managing a marketing team, building integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating with leadership, overseeing budgets, building relationships with partners, establishing processes, driving marketing insights, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Must have:
  • Experience as a Marketing Manager in gaming or entertainment.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience with a background in brand, digital, and performance marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience managing marketing teams.
  • Track record of launching marketing campaigns for console, PC, and/or mobile games.
  • Strong strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration abilities.

As the Marketing Manager at Annapurna Interactive, you will oversee and execute marketing strategies for a thoughtfully curated portfolio of games, ensuring they reach the right audiences with the right messaging. This role involves leading marketing efforts across publishing, brand, community, and performance marketing to support developers in bringing high-quality games to market.You will work closely with Annapurna Interactive's leadership team, Product, Production, Communications, and other cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive marketing efforts. With a strong track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive awareness and engagement, you will be responsible for shaping the identity and positioning of games throughout their lifecycle, from announcement to post-launch.This position requires a deep understanding of the gaming landscape, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering innovative and effective marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Annapurna Interactive’s portfolio, providing clear objectives and measurable goals.

Help to grow, lead, manage, and mentor a marketing team, fostering a creative and data-driven approach to campaigns.

Work with a team to build and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including brand, content, social media, influencer, and performance marketing initiatives.

Collaborate closely with the VP of Commercial and Portfolio Development, and other leadership, to align marketing strategy with portfolio direction and business objectives.

Oversee marketing budgets, working closely with executive leadership to optimize spend and maximize impact.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with platform holders, media, influencers, and community partners to amplify marketing efforts.

Establish frameworks and processes to ensure consistent, efficient, and effective execution of marketing campaigns across multiple titles.

Drive marketing insights and analysis, leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize campaign performance.

Foster cross-functional collaboration internally and with external developers, ensuring marketing initiatives align with game development timelines and creative visions.

Identify and capitalize on trends and opportunities in the gaming industry to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.

Qualifications
Experience as a Marketing Manager or similar leadership role in video game publishing or entertainment.

10+ years of experience in marketing, with a background in brand, digital, and performance marketing.

5+ years of experience managing marketing teams with diverse skill sets and levels of expertise.

Track record of launching and sustaining marketing campaigns for console, PC, and/or mobile games.

Strong strategic thinking and the ability to balance creative vision with data-driven decision-making.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners.

Experience leading cross-functional marketing projects while managing timelines, budgets, and expectations.

Understanding of gaming communities, influencer marketing, and content-driven engagement strategies.

Passion for games and storytelling, with a keen interest in emerging trends and technologies in the industry.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with global teams and managing marketing efforts across different regions.

Familiarity with community-driven marketing and retention strategies.

Experience with analytics tools, CRM platforms, and performance marketing optimization.

Relationships with media, influencers, and key industry partners, as well as experience working with outside marketing agencies on campaigns.
