As a Mentor with C10 Labs, you will support innovative startups across various industries, especially in the HealthTech and BioTech space. You will provide strategic mentorship, leveraging your AI expertise and business acumen to drive positive outcomes. This includes assisting founders in refining their business strategies, offering insights, and helping them overcome challenges. You will also cultivate a network of industry experts, participate in workshops, and share insights on market trends, playing a crucial role in shaping the next generation of AI startups and supporting their growth. The program will run for 9 weeks, starting mid-June.
Must have:
- Proven track record as a founder or industry leader in AI or related field.
- Experience in mentoring and advising startups or high-growth companies.
- Strong network within the AI or HealthTech industry is required.
- In-depth understanding of venture capital and startup ecosystems is required.

C10 Labs is an AI-focused venture studio based in Cambridge, MA. We are dedicated to propelling the frontiers of artificial intelligence by investing in and nurturing early-stage startups that aim to solve complex problems and shape the future. Our team is passionately committed to building a more intelligent world, and we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us in our mission. For our next cohort, we have partnered with LabCentral to work with early stage HealthTech and BioTech founders developing exciting AI initiatives. The program will run for 9 weeks beginning in mid June.
Job Overview
As a Mentor with C10 Labs, you will be supporting innovative startups across various industries. We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic AI ecosystem that promotes creativity and growth for our portfolio companies. As part of our commitment to nurturing the next generation of successful companies, we are seeking experienced and accomplished founders and Industry leaders to join us in supporting our early stage team as Mentors. You will have a front seat to new innovation and play a hands-on role in shaping the future of AI startups. You will also have access to exclusive programs and events and the opportunity to become early advisors or fractional CxOs with our portfolio companies.
What you will do:
- Provide strategic mentorship to portfolio companies, leveraging your AI expertise, network, and business acumen to drive positive outcomes.
- Assist founders and leadership teams in developing and refining their business strategies, market positioning, and overall business plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and constructive feedback to help startups overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Cultivate and expand a network of industry experts, advisors, and potential partners to benefit portfolio companies.
- Provide expert insights on market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential risks associated with investment opportunities.
- Participate in workshops for portfolio companies to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas such as fundraising, business development, and scaling operations.
- Share industry best practices and emerging trends in AI to keep portfolio companies informed and well-positioned for success.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the investment team based on your insights and experience.
Who you are:
- Proven track record of success in a founder or co-founder capacity or as an industry leader. For this particular cohort, we have a preference for people with experience in Healthcare or BioTech space.
- Past success in mentoring and advising startups or high-growth companies.
- Strong network within the AI or HealthTech industry and a demonstrated ability to foster relationships within your network.
- In-depth understanding of venture capital, startup ecosystems, and emerging trends.
- Ability to be in person about 1 day a week for the length of our program which will be 8-10 weeks
