The Named Account Executive in the Public Sector focuses on selling the Salesforce Customer 360 platform to existing and new leads within the states of ND/SD/WY. This role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers, developing long-term account strategies aligned with customer business objectives, and coordinating internal resources. Responsibilities include opportunity development, account planning, driving customer satisfaction, and showcasing Salesforce's value proposition. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking skills and experience managing large enterprise accounts in SaaS sales. Success requires coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources for strategic alignment and driving growth within assigned accounts.
Must have:
  • 10+ years full-cycle sales experience (5+ in Enterprise SaaS)
  • Large key account management expertise

  • Developing and driving long-term account strategy
  • Customer relationship building and satisfaction

      Day to Day

      Our Enterprise Account Executives engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. They build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and c-suite decision makers within their patch, and become naturals at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.

      You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting.

      • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
      • Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
      • Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs
      • Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment
      • Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
      • Drive growth within an existing assigned account

      Preferred Qualifications

      • 10 years of full cycle sales experience, at least 5 years in Enterprise SaaS Sales
      • Management of one large key account
      • Ability to strategize with a large extended team
      • Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
      • Education sales experience in a plus

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $130,600 to $196,550.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
