Job Description

The Sales Supervisor will oversee, coordinate, and track the commercial activities of the sales team in the region, ensuring goal achievement through authorized distributors. This role promotes the positioning of English and French courses in educational institutions within the region and is responsible for implementing the sales model across different stages of the commercial plan. Key responsibilities include supervising and following up with representative schools, distributors, and booksellers; setting goals and tracking performance indicators; training and motivating the team on promotion and negotiation strategies; analyzing market behavior and proposing commercial strategies; maintaining constant communication with management for reports and objective alignment; providing competitor strategy information to management; authorizing sample material requests outside of the assigned budget after analysis and management approval; preparing periodic reports on personal work and representatives' performance; tracking and analyzing adoption reports; supervising expenses; monitoring the completion of representatives' activities according to the commercial plan phases; possessing market knowledge (product, competition, clients); reviewing and tracking information capture in CRM and physical formats used by the commercial network; and reviewing and validating adoption by each representative in their zone. The ideal candidate will have a degree in administration, marketing, or a related field, proficiency in Office Suite, intermediate English (B2), at least 3 years of experience in sales team supervision, experience in indirect sales or through distributors (preferably in the educational or publishing sector), knowledge of the educational sector, leadership and team management skills, strategic planning and results orientation, effective and assertive communication and negotiation skills, analytical capacity, decision-making, and conflict management abilities, proficiency in digital tools and CRM, self-time management, high work ethics and integrity, availability to travel within the assigned zone, knowledge of assigned municipalities and states, and a valid driver's license.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in administration, marketing, or related field

Objetivo del puesto: Supervisar, coordinar y dar seguimiento a las actividades comerciales del equipo de representantes de ventas de la región, asegurando el cumplimiento de metas a través de los distribuidores autorizados. Promover el posicionamiento de los cursos de Inglés y francés en instituciones educativas de la región. Es responsable de la implementación del modelo de ventas en las diferentes etapas del plan comercial.

Funciones y Responsabilidades Principales:

  • Supervisión y seguimiento en los colegios más representativos de cada zona, así como a distribuidores y libreros.
  • Establecer metas y dar seguimiento a los indicadores de desempeño.
  • Capacitar y motivar al equipo en estrategias de promoción y negociación.
  • Analizar el comportamiento del mercado y proponer estrategias comerciales.
  • Mantener comunicación constante con la Gerencia para reportes y alineación del objetivo.
  • Proporcionar información a la gerencia, sobre las estrategias de la competencia.
  • Autorización de solicitudes de material de muestras que no están dentro del presupuesto asignado a la zona, (previo análisis y valoración de la gerencia).
  • Elaborar informes de manera periódica, tanto de su trabajo como el de los representantes.
  • Seguimiento y análisis del reporte de adopciones.
  • Supervisión de gastos.
  • Seguimiento al cumplimiento de las actividades de los representantes de acuerdo con las fases del plan comercial.
  • Conocimiento del mercado (producto, competencia, clientes).
  • Revisión y seguimiento en la captura de información en CRM y formatos físicos que la red comercial utiliza en su actividad diaria.
  • Revisión y validación de adopciones de cada uno de los representantes de su zona.
  • Dominio de las funciones principales de los representantes

Experiencia, habilidades y conocimientos

Esenciales/Excluyentes:

  • Licenciatura terminada, administración, mercadotecnia o afín.
  • Manejo de paquetería Office
  • Inglés: Intermedio ( B2)
  • Al menos 3 años de experiencia en supervisión de equipos de venta.
  • Experiencia en ventas indirectas o a través de distribuidores (preferentemente en el sector educativo o editorial).
  • Conocimiento del sector educativo
  • Liderazgo y manejo de equipos
  • Planeación estratégica y orientación a resultados
  • Comunicación efectiva y asertiva y habilidades de negociación.
  • Capacidad de análisis, toma de decisiones y manejo de conflictos.
  • Dominio de herramientas digitales y CRM
  • Autogestión de tiempo
  • Alto sentido de ética e integridad laboral.
  • Disponibilidad para viajar dentro de la zona asignada
  • Conocimiento geográfico de las alcaldías y estados asignados.
  • Licencia de conducir vigente
