As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AWS infrastructure and voice technologies. Your responsibilities include leading architectural design, network design and implementation, infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible, monitoring and performance optimization using Grafana, ensuring security and compliance, and leveraging expertise in SIP, SBCs, and VOIP for voice services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stay updated on the latest AWS services and industry trends, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. The role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, and expertise in voice technologies.

Must have:

Minimum 6 years of industry experience.

Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience with network security technologies and practices.
Proven experience as a senior AWS engineer.
Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools.
Experience with monitoring and visualization tools.

Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in both cloud infrastructure and voice technologies. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the potential of our AWS infrastructure, collaborating closely with developers to optimize services and servers for improved efficiency and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud-based voice services.

Responsibilities:

Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure solutions, integrating voice technologies where applicable.
Network Design & Implementation: Develop and implement scalable and secure cloud network architectures. Design virtual networks, VPNs, and interconnections between cloud environments and on-premises systems.
Infrastructure Automation: Drive automation efforts using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible to streamline provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions using Grafana and other tools to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of both AWS infrastructure and voice services.
Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in both AWS infrastructure and voice services.
Voice Technologies Expertise: Leverage your expertise in SIP, SBCs (Session Border Controllers), and VOIP to design, implement, and troubleshoot voice services, ensuring high quality and reliability.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, and DevOps engineers to support the development and deployment of cloud-based voice services.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, voice technologies, and industry trends. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 6 years of industry experience.
Proficiency in cloud networking services and tools (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, Google Cloud VPC).
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience with network security technologies and practices.
Proven experience as a senior AWS engineer with hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS infrastructure.
Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, configuration management tools like Ansible, and version control systems like GitHub.
Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana for infrastructure and voice services monitoring.
Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, with experience implementing security controls in both AWS infrastructure and voice services.
Expertise in voice technologies including SIP, SBCs, and VOIP, with experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting voice services.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) and relevant certifications in voice technologies are a plus.

Certifications (Preferred):

AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Network Engineer, or equivalent certifications.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher is a plus.
