Job Summary

Job Description

Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives within operations, optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing service quality to achieve operational excellence. Conduct site visits and performance reviews with Operations management to share best practices, improve staff performance, determine resource needs, and achieve operating plan goals. Drive weekly reviews with Operations to identify corrective actions for improving operations performance. Lead cross-divisional, complex projects supporting key focus areas, following established company process improvement methodologies and standards, and ensure implementation of workshop results. Manage and monitor projects at a program level, ensuring schedules, scope, and costs are delivered on time and within budget. Possess advanced knowledge of program and project management principles, practices, and tools. Coach and mentor operations staff involved in process improvement and conduct process improvement training. Work effectively and collaboratively with project teams, operations heads, and process improvement staff to support successful project completion. Identify and communicate unresolved problems or potential timeline issues, along with recommended corrective actions. Advocate for continuous improvement of products and processes by soliciting new process improvement opportunities. Champion local and regional, Continuous improvement competitions, providing guidance and direction to participants on their project submissions.
Must have:
  • Degree of equivalent field
  • At least 3 years experience in logistics/warehouse/distribution
  • Experience in problem solving methodologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Good command of English and Malay (spoken and written)
  • Appetite for continuous learning and improvement
  • Willing to travel

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree of equivalent field.
  • Experience at least 3 years in logistics/warehouse/distribution.
  • Experience in problem solving methodologies.
