We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager of Risk Insights & Payment Compliance to lead a high-impact team passionate about two critical domains: driving actionable risk insights and ensuring robust payment compliance practices! This role is central to shaping risk strategy by translating analytics into executive-level narratives and guiding the organization through sophisticated regulatory and operational decisions!

The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of analytical proficiency, cross-functional leadership, and strategic communication. While the team focuses on generating insights and managing compliance coverage, you will focus on interpreting these insights, navigating cross-functional discussions, and influencing decisions at the leadership level!

What You Will Accomplish:

• Insight Development & Decision Enablement: Own the end-to-end translation of risk data into actionable insights. Ensure analytical outputs are accurate, timely, and contextually relevant to support strategic decision-making, truth-finding, and business alignment.
   

• Fraud Risk Strategy & Advisory: Leverage deep experience in fraud detection and mitigation to shape and challenge the company’s risk posture. Partner with engineering, product, and finance teams to assess threats, evaluate interventions, and design long-term controls that balance growth and protection.
   

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary team spanning risk insights and payment compliance. Drive clarity of purpose, champion collaboration, and ensure accountability through clearly defined goals, regular coaching, and high-impact project execution.
   

• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary strategic interface across risk, finance, product, engineering, and legal. Navigate sophisticated conversations, align priorities, and influence senior leaders through compelling insight delivery and positive relationship building.
   

• Reporting Infrastructure & Data Stewardship: Supervise the availability, reliability, and governance of dashboards and recurring reporting. Champion a culture of data integrity, visibility, and ownership within the team and across stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

• 8–10+ years of experience in risk strategy, analytics, compliance, or trust & safety, with at least 3 years in team leadership roles.
   

• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage across multiple domains.
   

• Strong experience in presenting to and influencing senior executives through data-backed strategy recommendations.
   

• Proficient in SQL and Python (or able to guide a technical team); strong command of BI tools and data storytelling.
   

• Deep understanding of payment risk, regulatory compliance, and the operational tradeoffs between growth and control.
   

• Proven success operating in sophisticated, fast-paced environments with cross-functional dependencies.
   

• Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
