SailPoint is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to drive awareness and demand in the US Northeast and Canada markets. This role involves developing and executing regional marketing plans using various tactics like account-based programs, shows, conferences, and field events. The Field Marketing Manager will collaborate with local sales executives, territory managers, and channel partners to ensure marketing efforts align with regional goals. Key responsibilities include driving marketing for specific regions (Benelux, Nordics, MEA), developing integrated marketing plans, promoting SailPoint's vision, planning lead generation programs with sales and partners, building account-based marketing strategies, and executing demand generation campaigns. The ideal candidate should have experience in strategic, tactical, and channel marketing, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
Must have:
  • 8+ years experience in Field Marketing for a security company in Europe
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Solid event management and organization skills
  • Strong understanding of channel partner lead generation programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience using Salesforce and Tableau
  • Budget Planning and Management Skills
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing
Good to have:
  • Experience with complex B2B enterprise sales cycles
  • Demonstrating marketing's impact through business models, dashboards, and data
  • Experience managing agencies
  • Self-starter who can be independent and execute flawlessly

SailPoint, the leader in Identity Management and Access Governance, is seeking a Field Marketing Manager for our US Northeast and Canada markets. This role, reporting to the Manager of Americas Field Marketing, will generate awareness and demand using a variety of marketing vehicles and tactics including, but not limited to, account based programs, regional shows, conferences, and targeted field events.   The person will work closely with SailPoint’s local sales executives, territory manages and channel partners to ensure marketing aligns with regional goals.  The person will need to have experience in both strategic, tactical, and channel marketing as many of our campaigns are planned with our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the marketing for SailPoint in Benelux, Nordics, and MEA regions.
  • Develop and execute regional integrated marketing plans aligned with business priorities and pipeline goals.
  • Promote and drive SailPoint’s vision and strategy in region
  • Plan and execute a solid marketing plan to help generate pipeline with your direct sales force and our strategic partners.
  • Build an account based marketing strategy to target new prospects in the enterprise space
  • Drive demand generation campaigns using a mix of digital, events, content syndication and ABM tactics
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, channel and product marketing teams to ensure alignment and impact
  • Monitor lead follow up and conversions to opportunities to build a solid pipeline within your region/verticals

Desired Background

  • 8+ years’ experience in Field Marketing for a security company in Europe
  • Fluent in English
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote model with some travel required as needed for key events
  • Solid event management and organisation skills. Experience with complex B2B enterprise sales cycles and demonstrating marketing’s impact on the business thru business models, dashboards and data
  • Experience of managing agencies
  • Strong understanding on how to leverage and plan lead generation programs with channel partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience using Salesforce and Tableau
  • Budget Planning and Management Skills
  • Self-starter who can be independent; with the ability to execute flawlessly
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing discipline
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
