Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Localization & Mapping). By applying, you gain access to the Hashlist network, unlocking opportunities in automotive projects across the industry.
Available locations: This position is open to candidates in Brazil and India (Bengaluru, Chennai & Pune).
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and analyze Localization & Mapping software components for automated driving.
- Translate system requirements into technical designs for iterative and agile implementation.
- Collaborate with algorithmic teams to develop core functionalities for map-based driving.
- Optimize map access and localization functions for real-time, safety-compliant applications.
- Work with AI perception teams to fuse map and perception data efficiently.
- Solve technical challenges using industry best practices and comply with security policies.
- Use agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners to define user stories and minimal viable products.
- Drive continuous improvement through code reviews and defect analysis.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of programming experience in a professional environment.
- Advanced experience with modern C++.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions in uncertain conditions, and multitask.
- Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
- Proved know-how in some of the following domains: Robotics, Computer Vision, Localization, Mapping, SLAM; Control Theory and Deep Learning as a further plus.
