Social Marketing Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The Social Marketing Coordinator at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. will assist in the execution of various social media and influencer campaigns for game releases in the Americas. They will collaborate with internal teams and global social marketing teams to execute a high volume of tasks and coordinate responsibilities with related teams. They will be expected to provide ongoing support to the overall brand strategy for several concurrent game launches, manage content creation, social posting, and influencer research.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate social marketing activities by updating and tracking social editorial calendars, with a heavy emphasis on project management.
• Post approved social content across a variety of social media platforms and first party community hubs with a high level of attention to detail.
• Write captions and copy across social media channels (including text overlay for videos) to maintain the brand’s voice.
• Respond to fans on social media platforms following approved guidelines.
• Effectively manage and share social assets from several sources to ensure maximum usage of each asset across our US, LATAM, and European social media channels.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Social Marketing to create campaign strategies when needed.
• Research and build target lists of gaming influencers and support team members in influencer outreach.
• Participate in game livestreams either on camera or as a moderator.
• Continuously keep a pulse on social, game, and cultural trends and analytics to implement content strategies and optimize our channels.
• a minimum of 10% travel required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2+ years of professional experience with social media or video game marketing.
• Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail with an ongoing dedication to achieving high-quality results.
• Some evening or weekend work may be required to support game maintenance or event announcements.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with popular videogame influencers

HOURLY RANGE

$26.31 - $36.06

Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
