Job Description

As a Software Security Engineer, your responsibilities include conducting threat analysis and risk assessments, designing and reviewing software security architectures, managing security requirements, performing root cause analysis of security defects, and serving as a technical interface with customers and teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong security background, experience in embedded software development using C and assembly, knowledge of SoC/System Architectures and software stacks. Job Details

Your Responsibilities:
  • Threat analysis and risk assessment of security systems

  • Specification / Design / Review of software security architectures and implementations

  • Managing security requirements by defining and linking security mechanisms to functional requirements to include innovative security mechanisms in operating systems, firmware, protocols, etc.

  • Root cause analysis of security defects and creation of counter measures

  • Technical interface to customers, evaluation labs and product development teams

Your Profile:

  • Have a Master in Cryptography, Security, Software Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics

  • Have a strong security background

  • Very good experience in embedded software development, using C and assembly

  • Knowledge of SoC/System Architectures

  • Knowledge of software stacks, middleware and applications

  • Independent working style, but willingness to listen and to adapt

  • Very good communication skills

  • Strong team player

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications; therefore, a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
