Job Description

This Account Manager role focuses on large retail clients in the BeNeLux region. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly growth targets, owning a portfolio of complex businesses, developing multi-quarter growth plans, pitching and consulting with clients on marketing strategies and budgets, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, along with a deep understanding of online marketing and digital advertising campaigns. They will leverage storytelling to engage clients and demonstrate thought leadership in the digital marketing space, while also strategically assessing and achieving client success through effective sales techniques. The role requires fluent English communication and a minimum of 2 years' experience in advertising, sales, business development, or marketing.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent English communication

  • Ability to meet sales quotas and drive growth

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or a marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, ability to manage digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance and brand marketing.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilise storytelling as a client engagement strategy, while demonstrating thought leadership within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context to overachieve quotas to drive growth while strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, while developing action plans though tactical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth targets, while driving customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Own a portfolio of large complex businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying constant opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support marketing discussions and budgets, alongside developing and maintaining a robust pipeline that helps you manage your business and maximize impact.
  • Partner with fellow team members and cross-functional partners to drive business opportunities that build long-term growth.
  • Execute stakeholder management plans internally and externally, establishing and maintaining relationships with end customers.
