The position requires proficiency in data analysis and the ability to create actionable strategies to achieve ambitious growth goals.

Job Purpose

The Business Development Sales Lead role is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Team Liquid business presence in the Philippines. This position involves identifying potential clients, fostering strong partnerships, and executing strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate will leverage market insights, innovative approaches, and cross-functional collaboration to develop and implement effective business development initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand the company’s market reach and business portfolio.
  • Identify, approach, and establish strong relationships with potential clients to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead negotiations, deliver compelling sales pitches, and close business deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities, ensuring consistent progress toward sales goals.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, using insights to shape business strategies.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align business strategies with market demands, driving innovation in service offerings.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
  • Align business initiatives with marketing campaigns to maximize impact and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, performance metrics, and the effectiveness of business development activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development progress and strategies to senior management.
  • Represent Team Liquid at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in business development or sales, preferably in the eSports, digital marketing, or entertainment industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and creating actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
