The Customer Success and Business Development Associate, ANZ will play a dual role: ensuring customer value from Trackman products and driving growth through new business opportunities. This involves working with indoor simulator centers and driving ranges across Australia and New Zealand, helping them leverage Trackman's technology. Responsibilities include customer onboarding, training, technical support, identifying new business opportunities (especially for booking and payment solutions), driving local tournament engagement, collaborating with sales/marketing teams, conducting market analysis, and managing marketing efforts. The role reports to the VP of APAC and requires up to 30% travel.
Must have:
  • Higher education in technology, business, or marketing
  • 2+ years experience in Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, or Business Development
  • Fluent in English
  • Interest and understanding of golf
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
Good to have:
  • Based in Sydney (other locations considered)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Trackman is a fast-growing sports technology company that develops, manufactures, and sells 3D ball flight measurement systems for a variety of sports verticals. Originally developed for golf, Trackman now enjoys a market leader position in several sports disciplines in measuring and delivering real-time sports motion data. 

Due to the high growth in the region, we are now looking to add a Customer Success and Business Development Associate to help customers achieve maximum value from their Trackman product and driving growth by identifying and securing new opportunities for our booking and payments solution, YourGolfBooking.

As our new Customer Success and Business Development Associate, you will be involved with many aspects of Trackman’s business in the region and have a unique chance to help shape the future of golf in the region. The role will be reporting to the Vice President of the APAC Region, and ideally be based in NSW, but could also be based in VIC or QLD. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

As a Customer Success & Business Development Associate, you’ll play a dual role: ensuring our customers achieve maximum value from Trackman products and driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with indoor simulator centres and driving ranges across Australia and New Zealand, helping them leverage Trackman's technology to enhance performance and achieve their business goals. 

Customer Success responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Trackman customers, delivering world-class support and guidance 

  • Conduct onboarding and training sessions to ensure clients are proficient in using Trackman systems 

  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their goals and ensure they achieve measurable success 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the global support team 

Business Development responsibilities: 

  • Identify new business opportunities within the golf industry with main focus on booking and payment solutions for driving ranges and indoor simulator centres 

  • Drive local uptake and engagement in global and local indoor golf tournaments 

  • Collaborate with the global sales and marketing teams to implement regional strategies 

  • Drive Trackman ANZ’s marketing efforts across the product portfolio 

  • Conduct market analysis and report to regional management 

Job requirements

Requirements 

  • Higher education in technology, business, or marketing 

  • 2+ years of experience from Customer Success, Marketing, Sales or Business Development 

  • Personal drive, self-starter with demonstrated willingness to go the extra mile 

  • Fluent in English 

  • Interest and understanding of golf (incl. rules and tournament formats) 

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

  • Act on commitments. What is promised is delivered! 

  • Build and maintain relationships easily 

  • Persuade others by being trustworthy and enthusiastic 

  • Manage your own time effectively and efficiently 

  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills 

  • Analyse problems and provide well-thought-through solutions 

  • Ideally based in Sydney, but other locations can be considered 

  • Advanced computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office 

The compensation plan consists of a fixed salary, commissions based on performance, and a bonus plan. You will benefit from extensive onboard training and continuous coaching. You will be working out of your home office in the territory and travel up to 30% of the time.
