Job Description

At Sonat Game, data is the foundation for every decision regarding products, users, and growth. As a Data Engineer in the Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating data pipelines to collect, process, and structure tracking data from games and mobile applications. Your work will directly support Business Intelligence (BI) tools and AI models to provide better analysis and personalized experiences for users.

2. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design, build, and optimize data pipeline systems, ETL workflows, and data warehouses for product analysis and operation.
• Collect and aggregate data from various sources: game/app tracking, user events, marketing systems, internal databases...
• Supported and responsible for ensuring data synchronization, cleanliness, accuracy, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts & AI Engineers to support data querying, dashboard building, AI/ML models, and internal tool deployment.
• Optimize data retrieval performance and ensure information security.

3. REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge

• University degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Information Systems, or related fields
• At least 6 months of practical experience as a Data Engineer or equivalent
• Strong understanding of data structures, relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery...)
• Proficient in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in big data processing
• Foundational knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, data warehouses

Skills

• Familiarity with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Flink, Apache Beam, or Apache Spark.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and data orchestration tools (such as Airflow, dbt).
• Practical experience with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or ClickHouse is a plus
• Ability to analyze, process, and optimize data retrieval performance
• Scientific time management and task prioritization
