This position entails leading client projects from conception, execution to delivery of Commercial Data Warehouse (CDW) and Master Data Management (MDM) systems, for the commercial efforts of pharmaceutical and life science firms. Additionally, this position plays a pivotal role in managing client interactions regarding existing and future Data Warehouse projects and identifies areas for future growth.
We'll trust you to:
- Oversees and develops approach and solution components for Data Warehouse projects to ensure methodological soundness; consistently delivers quality client services and drives high-quality deliverables.
- Leads project teams in the design and development of MDM projects, including the design and configuration of internal MDM platform and creation of MDM specific deliverables.
- Advises on strategy, team resources, and deadlines, and assumes data investigation and platform configuration tasks as necessary to support internal team and clients.
- Works with project leadership to define project scope and development approach for each project, including conducting issue analysis and hypothesis development.
- Synthesizes findings, develops recommendations, and communicates results to clients and internal teams.
- Assumes project management responsibilities for MDM implementation on each project with minimal supervision, including managing client communication, leading meetings, drafting agendas, managing timelines and serving as a regular point of contact for clients.
- Works independently or with a team to build out data processes.
- Liaisons with multiple internal stakeholders globally like client engagement, solution specialists and data specialists and manages expectations and deliverables
- Coordinates with diverse teams, including those globally.
- Frequently utilizes coding to facilitate data processing and reporting.
- Provides project leadership for team members regarding process improvements, planned approaches for client requests, or transition of new deliverables.
- Monitors progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes; manages project finances by maintaining financial summaries, drafts SOWs for new work, and manages client invoices.
- Assists in supporting management, including promoting employee engagement, recruiting, training, and providing ongoing education, employee mentorship and coaching; contributes to internal initiatives aimed at improving team performance and satisfaction.
- Fosters an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
- Coaches and mentors junior team members on their professional development and serves as their Professional Development Manager.
- Grows external client engagements, owning aspects of the relationship between the client and the firm.
- Ensures seamless communication and collaboration with US-based project managers and clients to align project goals and deliverables.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 7 to 9 years professional experience.
- Proven experience implementing or supporting HCP, HCO, and payer MDM or similar centralized data management solutions in the US pharmaceutical market.
- CDW experience in the US life sciences industry is strongly preferred.
- MDM experience in the life sciences industry is preferred.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint and Word; advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong coding skills in Python.

- Knowledge of data management best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
