Intern - Consumer Insights

This position is based in Las Vegas, within the Consumer Insights team that acts as the “voice of the player” throughout Aristocrat. This intern will have the opportunity to gather and interpret feedback from land-based and mobile gamers using a range of research methods and produce actionable insights to support and shape games, marketing, and product strategies. As a full-service market and usability research team, we manage everything from design studies to analyzing data and sharing findings across the entire Aristocrat business.

The internship lasts 10 weeks and will start in early June and end in Mid-August. Candidates will be required to prepare and submit a project report at the end of the 10 weeks. The internship offers a flat per hour stipend capped at 40 hrs. per week and does not offer any other benefits or allowances. Candidates will be required to arrange for their own housing and transport.
 

What you'll do

• Engage in a 10-week, fulltime onsite project based in Las Vegas

• Collect, analyze and share insights on how players perceive Aristocrat games and competitor games

• Own research projects that explore mobile gaming trends and build player personas based on findings

• Present out research and findings to stakeholders across the business

• Work closely with members of the Consumer Insights team to learn about different methodologies such as concept testing, theme testing, in-depth interviews, focus groups and more

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and entering a Junior or Senior Year

• Must be 21 years of age by June 2, 2025 A background or strong interest in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction or UX/UI Design

• Experience in Microsoft Office and other basic computer usage skills

• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong curiosity to learn why people do what they do

• A growth mindset and willingness to accept feedback

Pay Range

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
